OVERVIEW
Brookvale is a busy public transport interchange. On a typical weekday, close to 5,000 pedestrians cross the road at this location, while an average of 35,000 cars pass through the intersection between 7am and 7 pm Monday to Friday.
The construction of the pedestrian bridge spans Pittwater Road from the side of the Brookvale Community Health Centre (BCHC) across to Westfield Warringah Mall, improving traffic flow and providing safer access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Damcon was engaged to carry out all FRP works and scaffolding works, we were commended by the client on the quality finishes and our ability to meet an accelerated program.
