OVERVIEW
The Edgecliff Station upgrade and commuter carpark is part of the NSW Government initiative to improve accessibility within the Transport Access Program (TAP) by delivering accessible, modern, safe, and integrated transport infrastructure.
The project involved the addition of two new lifts to provide access to the train platforms and the bus interchange, improved pedestrian access and safety in the bus interchange with the introduction of pedestrian crossings, an extension of the bus canopy, and new ramps to the New McLean Street.
The works include operating close to pedestrian traffic and live rail conditions. Work also involved working in areas with difficult access and limited site space. Damcon was commended by the client for our workmanship and ability to meet project milestones.
